Dr Marita Long is a Victorian based GP working across clinical practice, medical education and research. She has a strong interest in women’s health and cognitive health. She is a current committee member for the Australian Society of Psychosocial Obstetrics and Gynaecology, a member of the WIGP RACGP committee and is the President-Elect of the Australasian Menopause Society. Marita is actively engaged in various projects related to dementia, and is the first GP appointed as an Honorary Medical Advisor for Dementia Australia and a Clinical Assoc Professor for Wicking Dementia Education and Research Centre.

Associate Prof Michael Woodward AM is a Geriatrician with a passion for health promotion in older people, including vaccine-preventable diseases. He is Director of Aged Care Research at Austin Health and has conducted several trials of vaccines.
He is a member of the Scientific Advisory Committee of the Immunization Coalition and has written the Position Paper on Immunization of older people for the Australian and New Zealand Society of Geriatric Medicine. In 2016 he received Membership of the Order of Australia for his work in geriatric medicine and his communication to professionals.
Dr Sonia Davison MBBS FRACP PhD, is an Endocrinologist with a special interest in Women’s Health, and has worked in this field for over 20 years. She is a Clinical Fellow at Jean Hailes for Women’s Health and has worked at the Women’s Health Research Program, Monash University, Victoria, Australia. Sonia is in private practice at the Melbourne Endocrine Clinic, Malvern, and at Jean Hailes for Women’s Health. Her PhD and postdoctoral research examined hormones in women, including measurement of androgens and their relationships with age, mood, sexual function and cognition. Sonia is Past President of the Australasian Menopause Society and former editor of its newsletter, ‘Changes’. She is a current Board member of the Asia Pacific Menopause Federation. Sonia has published widely in the field of women’s health, and has presented at women’s health conferences, scientific meetings, podcasts, webinars, and community seminars. She has frequently been invited to appear in the media, including the TV show, “The Truth about Menopause”, featuring Myf Warhurst.

Dr James Brown is a gynaecologist with a focus on reproductive endocrinology. Through his work at WHRIA in Sydney NSW, he sees women with menopause, PMDD, PCOS and any other gynaecological condition. He also assists couples with infertility through Genea. Dr Brown holds a public appointment as the medical co-lead establishing the South-West Sydney Specialist Menopause Service, Australia’s first 100% virtual public menopause hub. He also researches and teaches through Western Sydney University, and is completing a PhD in Health Economics with the University of Technology Sydney.

Dr Jane Elliott AM has been a general practitioner in Adelaide for many years, with a special career interest in women’s health, including menopause and premature menopause. She is a clinical senior lecturer in the Discipline of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Adelaide and teaches medical students and GPs. She has been an investigator in clinical research trials in many areas of women’s health including menopause, contraception, osteoporosis and low libido. She currently consults at AWARE Women’s Health. Jane is a Past President of the Australasian Menopause Society and is a member of Healthy Bones Australia National Consumer and Community Advisory Committee.

Dr Wheller completed a Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, and Master of Epidemiology at the University of Queensland, before becoming a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 2016.

Dr Wheller founded the specialist general adult, paediatric and cosmetic dermatology practice Ascot Dermatology in 2022. She has also been a consultant at the Queensland Children’s Hospital since 2018, where she trains junior doctors and supervises clinical research projects in paediatric dermatology. She is a Senior Lecturer with the University of Queensland School of Medicine, and also currently serves on the Australasian College of Dermatologists National Examinations Committee.

Dr Wheller’s special areas of interest include skin cancer detection and management, acne, complex skin rashes, vulval skin disorders and paediatric dermatology. In her spare time, she is a mum to two young daughters and an adopted greyhound.

Dr Susan Roberts graduated from University of Queensland with MBBS (Hons) in 1987.

She completed her psychiatry training in Queensland with her final year at Queens Medical Centre Nottingham UK with a joint position as Senior Lecturer at the University of Nottingham in 1996 and 1997. She has been working in the field of perinatal mental health for the past 25 years. She currently works as a perinatal psychiatrist at the Gold Coast University Hospital assessing and managing women from preconception through to the first postpartum year while supporting maternity, midwifery and child health services in their management of mothers, their infants and their families. Susan is also the Clinical Lead of Lavender Mother and Baby Unit, a 4-bed statewide mental health mother and baby unit at Gold Coast University Hospital. Up until April 2023 this was the only public mother and baby unit in QLD.

She is the current chair of the QLD Section of Perinatal and Infant Psychiatry and sits on the RANZCP Binational SPIP committee. She is also a member of the Maternal Mortality Subcommittee of the QLD Perinatal Maternal and Perinatal Quality Council. Her current research interests include eating disorders in the peripartum and the development of learning online modules for maternity care providers, child health, general practitioners, and obstetricians.

She is passionate about perinatal and infant mental health and with pursuing the goal of improving services for mothers, babies and their families on the Gold Coast and throughout Queensland and improving training and awareness of perinatal mental health.

Dr Lyndall White is a Consultant Psychiatrist in Private Practice specialising in Perinatal and Women’s Mental Health. She is a past Chair of the Queensland Section of Perinatal and Infant Psychiatry. Dr White is a past President of the Australasian Branch of the International Marce Society for Perinatal Mental Health.

Dr White practised for a decade in remote and rural General Practice before training in Psychiatry. In 2020 she was made a Member of the Order of Australia for “significant service to Medicine, Psychiatry and Perinatal and Infant Mental Health.

Dr Lauren Priest is a Geriatrician at Southern Adelaide Local Health Network (SALHN) and a PhD candidate at Flinders University, focusing on ageing, dementia, and translational clinical research. After completing her fellowship in geriatric medicine, she has developed an integrated clinical–academic career at SALHN. She is the Principal Investigator in the Clinical Research Unit and a Lecturer in the College of Medicine and Public Health at Flinders University. As an early-career researcher, her work spans dementia prevention, post-diagnostic support and innovative therapeutic approaches for ageing populations. She collaborates nationally and has published her work, presented internationally, and secured competitive research funding. She remains committed to advancing evidence-based care and improving outcomes for older adults across Australia.
Dr Richard Nolan is a Clinical Immunologist and Allergist, who has more than 25 years of experience in managing allergies of all forms.
Dr. Sarah Coll is an Australian orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in hand, wrist, and upper limb surgery. She currently works in private practice at Serviced Medical Suites and is actively involved in patient education and community health advocacy. Dr. Coll completed her medical degree and advanced orthopaedic surgical training in Australia, followed by further subspecialty training in upper limb surgery. Her past experience includes work across major public and private hospitals, managing complex orthopaedic and trauma conditions. She has a strong interest in improving patient outcomes, medical education, rural health access, and modern approaches to orthopaedic care and rehabilitation.
Professor Edmund Tse is a senior Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. He is a senior staff specialist and the current clinical lead in Hepatology. He has an clinical academic affiliation with the Adelaide University, previously and currently supervising PhD students in areas of Gastroenterology and Hepatology from improving bowel cancer surveillance, improving delivery of care to those with hepatitis C, as well as nutrition in liver disease. Eddie also performs monthly outreach to Darwin, offering expert gastroenterology and hepatology care to those in the Top End.
Polly has had a varied career since graduating as a physiotherapist from the University of Sydney in 2000. She worked across different roles (musculoskeletal, sports, palliative care) before finding her niche in the world of pelvic health, an area she has been working in passionately since 2011.

Polly worked for many years at the Royal Hospital for Women alongside some of Sydney’s top obstetricians, gynaecologists, urologists, colorectal surgeons and pain specialists. She has completed post-graduate training in the management of pelvic organ prolapse and pessary fittings.

After the births of her own two children, Polly worked hard at getting back to her love of running and is super passionate about working with new mums (and all women) to reach their exercise goals. Polly also works as a Senior Clinical Educator for the Pelvic Pain Foundation of Australia, a not-for-profit organisation where she delivers pain education programs across schools, sporting and community groups and to other health practitioners.

Polly has a sensitive and caring approach to her work with all of her clients.
